Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayChart website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What PlayChart is
PlayChart is a trading simulation and education tool. It replays historical market data bar by bar so you can practise placing orders against a simulated balance, and its Insights feature reviews the trades you made in a session.
- PlayChart is not a broker, exchange or investment adviser. No real money is traded, and no order you place in PlayChart reaches any market.
- Nothing in the Service — including Insights grades, statistics and suggestions — is financial, investment or trading advice.
- Results in a simulation, including results on historical data, do not predict or guarantee results in live trading. Any real trading decision you make is your own responsibility.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address or phone number up to date — we use it to verify your account and to send you notices.
- Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- An account is for one person. Do not share, sell or transfer it, and do not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits.
- Tell us promptly through support if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Plans and payments
PlayChart offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans with more. Current features and prices are shown on the Pricing page, in the currency of the site you are using.
- A paid plan is bought for a fixed period (for example one month or one year) and gives access until the end of that period.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as cryptocurrency payment gateways. Their terms also apply to your payment, and any network, exchange or provider fees are your responsibility.
- The amount of an invoice is fixed when the invoice is created. Where a price is converted between currencies, the rate is the one shown at checkout.
- A plan is activated once the provider confirms the payment. If you paid and your plan was not activated, contact support with your payment reference.
- We may change prices or plan features. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
4. No refunds
All payments are final. Because the free plan lets you try PlayChart before paying, we do not offer refunds or credits, including for unused time in a period.
You can stop using a paid plan at any time by not renewing it. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. When it ends, your account returns to the free plan and its limits — for example, projects beyond the free limit may become locked until you upgrade again. Your data is not deleted.
5. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for your own personal practice and learning, and only in lawful ways. You must not:
- copy, resell, redistribute or publish market data, charts or other content from the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or its data with bots or scripts, beyond the download features the app itself offers;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the Service or the charting software it includes;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or interfere with the Service, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
- impersonate anyone, or use support channels to send spam, abuse or harassment.
6. Market data and Insights
Historical price data in PlayChart comes from third-party sources and is provided for simulation only. It may contain gaps, errors or delays, and it may differ from the prices of any particular broker.
The simulator models order execution with simplified rules — for example, stops that the market gapped over fill at the next available price — and does not reproduce real-world spread, slippage, liquidity or commissions exactly. Insights grades are automated analyses of your simulated trades and may be incomplete or wrong.
7. Your content
Your projects, simulated trades, settings, support messages and attachments remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service for you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and the PlayChart name and logo, belongs to PlayChart and its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing — nothing more.
Charts are powered by the TradingView Charting Library. TradingView is a registered trademark of TradingView, Inc., and its software is subject to TradingView's own terms.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties for some features — for example Google sign-in, SMS and email delivery, payment processing and product analytics — and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask support to delete your account.
We may suspend or close an account, without refund, if it breaks these Terms, puts the Service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its data or analysis are accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent the law allows, PlayChart is not liable for any trading losses or other financial decisions you make, for loss of data or profits, or for any indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting outages, actions of payment providers, or changes in law.
12. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, add or remove features of the Service. We may also update these Terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If the English and Persian versions differ, the version in the language of the site you signed up on applies.
